Helen Mort is a poet, novelist and playwright based in Sheffield. Her first collection 'Division Street' (2013) was shortlisted for the Costa Prize and for the T.S. Eliot Prize. She is also the author of 'Lake District Trail Running' (Vertebrate, 2016) and has written for Climb magazine and Alpinist. She also teaches creative writing and is regular on nice BBC radio programmes.
Quiet Loner (Matt Hill) combines skilful flat-picking with lyrical wordplay, his albums have been praised for their emotional qualities, their honesty and the way they connect with the listener. Living in Glossop walking in the Peaks plays a major role in his creative process. He often write ideas and melodies whilst he walks - "the rhythm of the feet is a factor" he says.
